This day’s recap’s briefness accurately captures the shortness of the day. After a late night having fun with new friends at Sing Sing, I slept in til early evening, only waking once to eat some delivered breakfast and then go back to sleep. Meanwhile, Morgan and Joseph explored Wat Pho temple and got tattoos of lunar moths from an artist recommended by Patrick. My excitement is piqued for the two tattoos I have planned ahead during my travels.
In the evening, my local friend Namwann and I grabbed a bite from a local spot with many food trucks under hanging lights. I enjoyed beef noodle broth soup and dumplings paired with some good old American electrolyte rehydration, Gatorade.
After dinner, I made my return to the Air BnB and had a relaxing night of doing laundry, spending time in the sauna and pool, working, and packing. It was a fast but eventful week in Bangkok, and tomorrow evening Morgan, Joseph, and I make our way to Koh Samui for some island life.
